1^st Research Symposium

The research findings of the first batch of students of UWU were proudly launched at the research symposium on the theme “Value Addition to the Natural Resource Base” which held on 16^th and 17^th September 2010. 176 presenters presented their research findings in five technical sessions which were believed to be exploited by the participants to create a platform to debate and discuss valuable scientific ideas to be developed in order to add value to the natural resource base. In addition, several lab-scale innovations were exhibited at the symposium including the Office Assistant Robot, 3D Scanners, Home Security Systems, Automated Machines and many more.
